So, this Valentines Day my husband got me the usual…. some chocolates, two bouquets of flowers, cheese cake, and dinner..wait..you mean, you didn’t get that too?? You mean it sounds like I am bragging?? 
Sigh…sometimes he really comes through. 
Anywhoo, I had these beautiful flowers sitting on my kitchen counter and I thought.. “wow, those are pretty awesome…I wish they weren’t going to die soon” because plants actually come to my house to die..Yeah, brown thumb betty here…So on a whim I decided that I wanted to tack on one more Valentines Day gift onto my already long list of loot and told my husband that I wanted to rent a macro lens so I could forever remember the beauty of those flowers…or maybe it was a lot less mushy, maybe I really just wanted some pretty flower pictures for my bedroom. So one weekend with a macro lens and some awesome flowers I now have some pretty cool flower pictures! I am pretty proud of these! So without further adu here is my flower macro debut!
