Strong – Ashley McNamara – San Diego Photographer

Finally!!! I finally got to meet sweet Annabelle.

I want to thank everyone for their sweet emails and for sending the Linden’s well wishes it is so appreciated. I feel so lucky to have met such a sweet family and be a part of this special time in their lives.

Annabelle gave us all a big scare but she is here, healthy, and PERFECT! I wanted to put her in my purse and take her home with me. hehe!

I have more than a few to share but I have a feeling that is ok. :)

Keep up with Annabelle HERE.

(Shot with Canon 40D  50mm 1.4 and 15mm 2.8 combo all shot between 1.4 and 2.8 ISO 400-800)

When I walked into Anabelle’s nursery I noticed this Dr. Suess book up on her bookshelf I kept looking at it because it was one I had never seen before..I thought I knew all Dr Suess books! I asked to look at it and fell in love..it is the most beautiful Dr. Suess book I have ever seen. I told Holly that I wanted “to take the pages out and frame them.” and she insisted I take the book…I love it…Thank You, Holly!!!

What are little girls made of? – Ashley McNamara – San Diego Photographer

”They’re made of ribbons and butterfly kisses and wonder at Christmas and birthday wishes and a heap of giggles and wiggles and love; these are the things little girls are made of.”

Sweet Ella is about to celebrate her first birthday. Ella and family are from the bay area and wanted to have some pictures taken before she goes and grows up on them. ;) Believe me, I know the feeling.

As requested here is some info:

Shot using a Canon 40D, Lenses used 24-70 2.8L and 50mm 1.4, all shot between 1.4 and 2.8, ISO 200-600

I have gotten a couple of emails asking where I shot the “field” pictures. This shot was taken in front of a teeeny patch of grass in a shopping center where I live. I wish I could find a huge field of the stuff..if you know where one is let me know. :)

Annabelle Update – Ashley McNamara – San Diego Photographer

I have gotten lots of emails from people saying they are keeping the Linden’s in their thoughts and prayers so I wanted to post an update because Annabelle is scheduled to enter the world at 1:00pm today.

The Linden’s could use some positive thoughts…your support is always appreciated.

Here is an excerpt from their Blog

“Always the over-achievers, the Lindens have decided to forgo the next week and a half of anticipation and are set to welcome Annabelle to the world today. Holly began having some mild contractions this morning at about 5:30. They called their doctor a little later in the morning and he said to come on into the hospital. They arrived there at about 8:30, and after being monitored for about an hour, they have scheduled the C-section for 1:00 today.

Matt will keep me posted by phone and may send along some pictures from his phone. I will keep you updated on their progress throughout the afternoon.”

::UPDATE::

Sorry I have not updated this sooner. If your not following Matt and Holly’s blog check it out HERE

Annabelle isn’t out of the woods yet but she is doing amazingly well…Here is another excerpt from Matt and Holly’s blog…

“Annabelle is here!

I just spoke to Wendy. She was delivered successfully a short while ago. The doctors gave her a bit of oxygen and then she started breathing, crying and swallowing on her own pretty quickly. She has also been waving her arms around. As expected, her legs were a bit deformed and there is an opening over her spine. The doctors covered the opening right away to keep it sterile and protected. Matt was able to hold her, and they set her down near Holly’s head so she could give her a kiss. Annabelle was then taken to the neonatal area where friends have been able to peek in on Annabelle one at a time.

The removal of Holly’s cysts also went well. She is in recovery and coming down off of anesthesia. Once she is able to sit up and be put in a wheelchair, she will be off to visit Annabelle. Matt and Holly will be meeting with the team of specialists tomorrow to go over the treatment plan. It sounds like little Annabelle has surprised them so far.

It sounds like Matt has a few good pictures he will hopefully forward on soon. Wendy also mentioned that one of the photographers that took the wonderful pictures of Matt and Holly will be stopping by the hospital to take some pictures of the new family.

Welcome to the world sweet Annabelle. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers.”

Unfortunately, I was unable to visit the Linden’s at the hospital yesterday..I have a HORRIBLE summer cold..I just couldn’t risk getting sweet Annabelle sick.  Hopefully, I will be able to visit Annabelle on Tuesday when I am feeling a bit better.
