One of the best things about my job is that I document the most special moments in peoples lives wether that be getting married, having babies, or documenting a growing family it is always special and I just love that..

Last week I got to hang out with my good friend Erin Palos and shoot a wedding. This wedding was B-E-A-UTIFUL! Every detail was completely stunning and I am so glad I was able to be a part of this celebration.

Photoshop Tutorials- Liquify Tutorial – Ashley McNamara – San Diego Photographer

Since my last video post I have gotten loads of requests to do a liquify tutorial.

I didn’t know exactly where to start so I made a quick 12min video showing you how I would liquify a photo. Obviously this is an extreme case. I don’t liquify my clients to this extent but it’s a tutorial and I thought it would be fun to take it a little further than I normally would.

There are lots of fun ways to use the liquify tool. You can use it for making people skinnier, you can use it to enhance eyes, and you can also use it to help someone smile.

In the video I mention that I have a tablet and the tablet I have is the Wacom Intous 3 and I believe it is 6×9 I don’t think I could live or liquify without this tablet. I heart it big time!

Family Photographer – Digius Family – Ashley McNamara – San Diego Photographer

I ran across this quote shortly after I finished processing the following pictures for the Digius family and thought I’d share it. I’ve been doing family photography for some time now and it never stops amazing me that no matter the form the family comes in, it’s always so beautiful! I feel so blessed to be able to document the lives of others, it’s a truly unique and wonderful feeling.
