Meet the Brocious family.
They are about to welcome their second baby girl! I am so excited because not only do I absolutely LOVE this family because they are totally up for all of my crazy ideas but they decided that they wanted to do a baby plan so I get to spend the whole year photographing their new baby and watching her grow up.
Its going to be a FUN year!!! Enjoy your sneak peek!!

I had the pleasure of photographing the Fay Family yesterday. What a fun bunch!!
I love photographing families in their homes..as soon as I walked in I knew I wanted to use their fabulous oversized white chair! eek!!! love it!!
I have a feeling that white sofa and chair are not going to stay white because the Fay family welcomed a baby girl into the world about two months ago. She is such a cutie! I have never seen such a smiley two month old.
I also had a chance to photograph this little missy while I was there!

I had the pleasure of photographing one of the most amazing families today! In august I was contacted by a friend of this family, she wanted to purchase a gift certificate for a baby shower…She told me that it was for a woman who was expecting twins she also told me of their beautiful three year old daughter who suffers from a rare degenerative disorder called Krabbe Disease, Krabbe disease occurs in about 1 in 100,000 births.
“Krabbe disease is caused by mutations in the GALC gene, which causes a deficiency of an enzyme called galactosylceramidase. The buildup of unmetabolized lipids affects the growth of the nerve’s protective myelin sheath (the covering that insulates many nerves) and causes severe degeneration of mental and motor skills. As part of a group of disorders known as leukodystrophies, Krabbe disease results from the imperfect growth and development of myelin.”
Little “O” was not expected to make it past her second birthday but she will soon celebrate her fourth!! The purpose of my shoot was to capture these sisters together because unfortunately their time is limited…I feel so honored to be able to capture these moments and I just hope I did beautiful little “O” justice.

Can I start by saying how much I love this family? This is the third time I have shot for them…I know, your jealous right? they are GORGEOUS! hehe…
I had a super hard time narrowing down the sneak peek because honestly, I love every single picture…sigh…So much so that I just spent the last six hours with my face in the computer screen editing these shots! oy..I have a headache!
Little side note–when I was editing my two year old son jumped up in my lap, pointed at the screen and said “Ohhhh pretty baby, I LOVE HER!” Leslie, how do you feel about arranged marriages? Because I love her too.
It was so much fun guys! Enjoy your peek!

You may recognize this mom from the maternity boudoir shots below…Well, her little bundle of joy came into the world on February 26. at 8 lbs 10oz, it is hard to believe that a baby that big came out of that tiny belly!!
..and on top of all that can you believe that she is a mother to three children?? For crying out loud I wasn’t that fit after just one baby!
Anyways…back on topic
I got the opportunity to photograph Kristin, her little man, and her beautiful four year old girl today and I loved every single second! While taking mom and baby shots her four year old waited not so patiently to hold her brother she was so excited when it was her turn and as you can see she is just in love with him!

Can I just start by saying that I love my job?
I love capturing seemingly ordinary moments and showing people how beautiful they are. You may recognize this lovely lady and good friend of mine from the Henna Belly shots I did a couple of weeks ago. The moment I took her pregnancy bathtub shot I knew that I wanted to do a followup with her sweet baby…I bet this scene is pretty familiar to most moms..Cherish moments like this, because they grow up way too fast. Big Thank You to my friend Ingrid for letting me play out my visions.

I totally have baby fever right now. My guy isn’t a baby anymore and I miss when they are too small to fight your kisses off, I miss that fuzzy little newborn head, and I really miss that newborn smell! Baby M totally didn’t help cure the fever! I am so lucky to have lots of friends with babies so I can get my fix and go home! Don’t those squishy cheeks kill you! ….Sigh….She makes my ovaries ache..
