Bay Area Family Photographer – Strasner Family – Ashley McNamara Photography

Holy fun/amazing family batman!

The Strasner family was a blast to shoot. I love when clients are into their shoots and the Strasner family had so many ideas and even better they were up for anything. We started downtown and ended at the beach in Del Mar it was so cold and cloudy in San Diego but we made it work.

How do I explain how fun this shoot was? I think I will start with this photo.. it explains it all.

Bay Area Child Photography – Ally and Carlie – Ashley McNamara Photography

Where do I start? Ally and Carlie are cousins and for the last couple of years I have had the pleasure of not only photographing these talented girls but I have watched them grow into beautiful young ladies.

Ally’s mom, Nancy and her sister Mary have me photograph the girls once a year to update their headshots and it wasn’t until this shoot that I was a little sad for Nancy and Mary because their little girls are no longer little girls and I know exactly how they feel… 12 now isn’t what 12 was when I was a kid, no more milk kids! You’re growing up too fast!

Nancy asked me if I would stop by the gym on my way downtown to take some shots of Ally and Carlie and holy amazing strength.

Fremont Photographer – Elise – Ashley McNamara Photography

Over the weekend I spent the evening with the Koo family in Fremont I have only been to Fremont one other time so I didn’t know what to expect location wise, we ended up on this huge hill overlooking all of Fremont it was beautiful. It’s been so much fun exploring my new area and working in new locations it makes things feel fresh again. Little Miss Elise Koo was the focus of the session and obviously she couldn’t be any cuter, my little button pusher, she is a photographer in the making.

San Francisco Baby Photographer – Baby Will – Ashley McNamara Photography

As you can see I am in a mad dash to play catch up. It’s been a super busy couple of weeks and now it’s time to get back to work. This is baby Will and the last time I saw him he was a five day old peanut. I cannot believe how fast they grow up, I swear it seems like yesterday when I was doing his newborn photos and now he is nearly one.
