If you’re not from California then you probably envision it this way; palm trees, sunny skies, and beaches and if that’s how you see it then you see Southern California because here up north it’s cold, cloudy, foggy, and raining cats and dogs!
On Saturday it was predicted that there was a 50% chance of rain and I was bummed because it was the Bechtel family shoot! Kate called me months ago to book a shoot and these are important milestone photos because it’s their first official family shoot since the birth of their little girl, Sage. There was no way we were going to miss this so we decided to wing it and if it rained then we decided that we were getting wet! I loved that Kate was up for anything including getting drenched, that’s dedication.
Luckily, it didn’t rain and we were able to get some awesome family photos and if I do say so myself Sage was the best one year old I have ever photographed she loved the camera.. obviously!
