Not only did I photograph the salon but we also did some photos of the receptionist, Gia for the website. Diana, my stylist and awesome friend was on site for some hair styling.

I was contacted by the founder of Yubo lunchboxes asking if I would be interested in adding these to my product line and I loved her  so much that I invited her to coffee to talk more.

At coffee we talked about how this whole luchbox idea came about.  We all go through it, our kids get their lunchboxes mixed up with friends or they leave it in their backpack and on monday it smells like rotting food… good luck getting that stink out! All I have to say is that if you have an idea run with it. I love talking to moms in business because I am a mom in business myself. Cyndi had enough of the lunchbox drama and created the most awesome lunchbox ever.. No, I am serious, it’s the most awesome lunch box ever!

Before I came on my blog and bragged about this giveaway I wanted to make sure it was as awesome as I say it is so we have been using it religiously for about two weeks. It comes completely apart so you can pop it in the dishwasher, it has little containers inside so I can give Topher applesauce out of the jar instead of the plastic on the go packs (keeping to my green lifestyle) and there is an icepack at the bottom so it keeps everything cold. We ended up getting a robot lunchbox because that’s his thing now but when he is into dinosaurs again I can go order a dinosaur front instead of buying a whole new box. Pretty awesome stuff, folks.

I am located in the Bay Area, However, I also service San Diego. I know it is a little confusing but I spend most of my time in the Bay and I fly to San Diego every 3 months for shoots.

Last but not least, as promised, there will be another giveaway next week from Yubo Lunch boxes. Topher has been using his lunchbox for the last 2 weeks and I am not kidding when I say they are freaking awesome!

It literally does do everything. I have to tell you though, I wasn’t really digging the camera but who cares its a phone. I had a couple of photo apps that I would play around with but I wasn’t really impressed with the results but like I said, it’s a phone so I wasn’t expecting miracles or anything.

Well, two weeks ago my friend, Amy Boring was in town and I thought it would be fun to hang out in San Francisco. She had been taking pictures with this super cool iPhone app and of course I asked what it was, she tells me, “shake it photo” so I download it and start playing… it’s blowing my mind. Love it, love it, love it.

I brought my 5D Mark II to the city for some shots but the poor thing never left the bag because that app is addicting! Since then, I have taken no less than 300 photos, it’s quickly becoming a problem.. if you have me as a facebook friend you already know this and are thoroughly sick of seeing all of my mobile uploads. For those of you who are not sick of me… Here are some of my favorites.

After making funny voices, bopping myself on the head, and blowing bubbles didn’t work I decided that it was time to put on the fisheye and let Maddie enjoy some time in the water and I am glad I did because that is when Maddie loosened up, plus I ADORE fisheye pictures.

The Porter house was awesome! Super retro, I just love capturing everyone’s unique style.  The best thing is that they were up for all of my silly ideas as long as it was “not posey” which I think is great because lifestyle is my favorite way to shoot. The focus of this shoot was little Ren who is 8 weeks old and he is quite possibly the cutest 8 week old I have ever seen.

Sunday was the big bash and I was sooo excited because Orousha always has the best parties with help from Sam her fabulous coordinator. I always wonder how Orousha will top the last party but she always comes through. I am secretly hoping her next baby is a boy just to see what she does at his first birthday.

Because no post is complete without a picture here is a shot of my little girl. She asked me if she could get her hair cut short a couple of weeks ago and we got 5 inches cut off!!! Its taking some getting used to but she loooves it!
